Abstract

Considering the importance of creativity in different contexts, assessment has been a topic of interest for both national and international researchers. As a result, a wide variety of assessment measures is available in the international context, whereas in Brazil, an important gap remains in this respect. There is currently only one test available for the evaluation of this construct in children, the Children's Figural Creativity Test (TCFI). In view of the deadlines imposed by the Federal Council of Psychology and the requirements presented in Resolution 31/2022, new studies must be conducted with assessments approved in the Psychological Test Assessment System (Satepsi) every 15 years. Tests such as this one were approved for professional use in 2010 and, in 2025, new studies investigating validity and precision will be required to maintain the test's approval. Accordingly, the present study is part of a larger project, which examines two types of reliability: rater reliability and temporal stability. In the first type, around 100 children will be evaluated by independent judges based on their responses to the TCFI. The second study will involve the administration of the same instrument twice, with an interval of 15 days between each application. Results will be compared. The Spearman correlation will be used in both cases, with r = 0.60 considered a satisfactory value. It is only expected results that favor meeting the minimum requirements of Satepsi regarding the type of psychometric quality examined to contribute to the new studies with the instrument.
