Abstract

From a Spanish-brazilian perspective, the presente research aims to identify and comprehend, through first-hand experience reports, how beginners' practitioners of eight types of Martial Arts and Combat Sports (MA&CS) experience processes of change and personal development by means of disruptive ocurrences lived during their practice. The proposal stems from a FAPESP Master's project (2023/01012-4) developed from the research efforts of GFEPAC - FAPESP. A total of 133 Interviews were conducted with practitioners of 8 types of MA&CS from the five regions of Brazil, 11 of which were identified as beginner practitioners. Thus, the criteria for the production of intersubjective reports with national coverage were met. The extension to a Spanish sample through the aplication of 24 to 48 interviews in broad territory allows the internacionalization of the crossed experiences. Furthermore, the material from this research is treated in a collaborative format between fivemembers of GFEPAC . Finally, the internationalization will allow for the construction of a transcultural work in relation to the proposed goals. The transcription and analysis of the material will follow the principles of suspensive listening, psychological reduction and intencional crossing, accordingly to an empirical-phenomenological methodology model.
