Abstract

The effective communication of science is of extreme importance for the development of society. To achieve this, it is necessary to translate complex scientific concepts into a more universal and accessible language for everyone. In this project, the use of artificial intelligence (AI) is addressed as an example of controversial technology, with various concerns hovering over its use, ranging from the impact on jobs to the dissemination of unverified information. However, despite these concerns, the incorporation of technology should be guided by rules and regulations, with a focus on the potential benefits for the healthcare sector, as supported by the World Health Organization. To make the benefits more evident to the public, we have chosen a project theme that showcases applications of AI models in healthcare. In this study, one of the objectives is to use AI to identify specific regulatory patterns of hematopoietic stem cells, which can contribute to overcoming existing challenges in bone marrow transplants. Through this, we hope to demystify the use of this technology that is so prevalent in today's world.
