Abstract

This project aims to analyze the genome of a bacterium of the genus Pseudomonas in order to identify biosynthetic gene clusters of peptides and other metabolites with potentially unique and/or potentially bioactive structures. Also perform growth experiments on the same strain Pseudomonas sp. using the OSMAC approach to carry out non-directed metabolomic analysis experiments associated with dereplication, in order to correlate the data with genomic analysis and determine secondary metabolites of interest to be isolated and identified after carrying out growth on a larger scale. Likewise, carry out OSMAC experiments and non-directed metabolomic analysis, associated with dereplication and bioassays, of fractions obtained from the culture media of selected marine fungus strains, to then select at least one fungal strain for growth in greater scale, isolation of selected metabolites from bioassay results, untargeted metabolomics and dereplication.
