Abstract

Drones have become increasingly prominent in terms of their versatility and several are their applications, such as surveillance, inspection, deliveries, agriculture and mapping for example. Despite increasing use, there are still challenges to overcome to ensure the safety, efficiency, and accuracy of these devices. This project highlights the importance of measuring and verifying the variation of the states of a control bench for drones. The effects of several parameters will be evaluated, such as temperature, pressure, air humidity, rotation speed in the motor and current. For climatic measurements, a pressure and temperature sensor and a humidity and temperature sensor will be used, to measure the motor and current rotation, hall effect sensors will be implemented, for the current sensor, some configurations will be evaluated. All sensors will be externally coupled due to the ease of maintenance and exchange without further adaptations.Several measurements will be carried out in different climatic and engine rotation conditions, with the collection and recording of data. The values will be subjected to statistical analysis to identify correlations between the parameters and the bench states. The results of this project are expected to contribute to the development of more efficient and accurate control systems for drones. In addition, the use of the control bench may open up new possibilities for research and teaching.
