Abstract

It is known that the acute disease caused by the new coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2, is characterized by multisystemic involvement. Post-COVID syndrome, which affects around 10% of patients with COVID-19 in the general population, and defined as the persistence of symptoms three months after infection. Recipients of solid organ transplants make chronic use of immunosuppressive medication, which alters the immune response to infections in general. There are no specific studies regarding post-COVID syndrome in this population.
