Abstract Cognitive skills can be understood as a set of skills that are learned to different degrees as an individual grows and develops mentally. In children with Cerebral Palsy, these skills may be more seriously affected, impairing their development. Interaction with digital games has significantly impacted executive functions, providing significant contributions to the Special Education audience. In this sense, this study aims to develop and validate a prototype of a digital game as an Assistive Technology resource for students with Cerebral Palsy for training memory and attention dimensions of executive functions. This research will be developed in five stages. The first step will consist of analyzing the set of guidelines in the literature through bibliographic research that includes information on the development of digital games for students with cerebral palsy. The second stage will be the development of a digital game prototype. The third stage will consist of validating a prototype of the digital game for training the proposed executive functions with specialists invited in a discussion group. The fourth stage will be for the development of the digital game. And the fifth step will be the intervention using the method of intra-subject type AB design. | |
