Abstract

Rule following behavior is an important field of research in behavior analysis. Several socially relevant behaviors are related to rule following, such as suffering from different psychological disorders, and the compliance to socially relevant rules (e.g., traffic rules and use of masks). Recent advances in Relational Frame Theory have driven the study of new variables related to rule following behavior. An important variable is the coherence of the relations learned. This is also important when deciding to follow or not a rule from a speaker who is related to coherent or incoherent relations. The aim of this is study is to verify the effects of coherence on the rule following behavior of two different speakers in a gamified procedure. The Miner Troubles software will be used and adapted to the experiment. (AU)
