Associated to the scholarship:21/11100-2 - Formulations of experimental dentifrices containing fluoride, stannous and different polymers for the prevention of erosive tooth wear on enamel and dentin., BP.DR

The aim of this study is to formulate experimental toothpaste containing different polymers (CHI: CHI: chitosan; LPP: sodium linear polyphosphate, MPC: 2- methacryloyloxyethyl and CA: Carbopol) associated to fluoride (F-, as NaF) and to fluoride plus stannous (Sn2+, as SnCl2) which will be evaluated in terms of the abrasive level (RDA and REA) and to test the efficacy of these formulations against enamel demineralization in vitro (n=12), using a pH cycling model. Data will be analyzed statistically using appropriate methods (± = 0.05). (AU)
