Abstract

In this project we propose a theoretical-conceptual study on the psychological analysis carried out by Lou Andreas-Salomé, in her book "Nietzsche in his Works" (1894), in the light of Nietzschean physiopsychology. The physiopsychology concept identified in Nietzschean philosophy can be understood by Nietzsche's role as a physician of culture, who would perform a typological diagnosis based on a dynamic notion of health-sickness. What Nietzsche wants with his diagnosis is to interpret the value of the values created by a philosophy and civilization, through the experiment that articulates the physiopsychological states of a thinker (and his culture) with his philosophical and cultural production. It's the way in which a philosopher relates to his sickness that will decide the value of his philosophy, which can reveal potency, driven by the struggle with disease or, on the contrary, can be a symptom of decadence, producing consolations against the disease and denying life . Our objective is to articulate Nietzsche's physiopsychological theory with the characterization of the "man" Nietzsche and his "internal experiences", outlined by Andreas-Salomé. This involves both drawing parallels and criticizing the Andreas-Salomenian psychological interpretation. From this, it will be possible to discuss points of resonance with the physiopsychology, as well as those that represent distance and even those that represent divergence. Andreas-Salomé's book, Nietzsche in his Works, has been the subject of few studies. In this sense, we will seek to highlight its originality and importance, as a work of great contribution both to Nietzsche-studies and to the intersectional field between Philosophy and Psychology. The research fits in the field of theoretical and conceptual research studies in psychology. The activity plan includes a program of analytical-structural, interpretative and critical readings of the selected bibliography.
