Holographic QCD, exotic mesons and finite temperature corrections

Abstract

This project will develop and implement theoretical and phenomenological aspects of AdS/CFT holographic correspondences and AdS/QCD. We will study generalized black branes in AdS5 and derive the respective corrections to the Navier-Stokes equations in the dual field theory, containing soft hair, with additional diffusion and coupling terms including the Ricci curvature. Spectral functions will be computed, as well as the transport and response coefficients, and their consequences will be explored in the approach of the dissociation of several types of mesons, including exotic mesons. We will prioritize the soft-wall AdS/QCD model, where we will explore hybrid configurations in the light meson sector containing a quark, an antiquark and an excited gluon, studying the properties of such states and their stability at finite temperature. We will also study properties of such states and their stability at finite temperature. We will study its dissociation at a different temperature compared to other states. We will also investigate, in an extended AdS/QCD model, exotic mesons, including hadrocharmonium, hadronic molecules and tetraquarks.
