EVALUATION OF FIGURAL CREATIVITY TEST BASED ON EXTERNAL VARIABLES USING PERSONALITY MEASURE

Abstract

Creativity has been emphasized as an essential component of the 21st century. In spite of this appreciation, Brazil does not currently have an approved test that assesses this construct in adolescents and adults. To address this gap, the present study examines the psychometric properties of an adapted version of an instrument previously published but originally developed to assess children's figural creativity (Children's Figural Creativity Test). Based on the relationship between the external variables of the divergent type, the study will seek evidence of validity. A sample of 100 high school and college students, both sexes, without age limits, will be selected and administered the aforementioned test and Personality Factor Battery. In the JASP program, the professor responsible for the project will conduct the data analysis, accompanied by the scholarship holder. As a first step, descriptive statistics will be estimated for each measure and its factors. Correlation will be used to compare the results, with low and non-significant correlations expected.
