Abstract

Studies and regulations indicate contextual factors and social categories as social determinants that affect the promotion of mental health to children, adolescents and their communities, thus, this project has as its object of study the promotion of mental health with children in the construction of a culture anti-racist from the knowledge and experiences of everyday life. Registered in the field of Child and Adolescent Mental Health, the project brings as theoretical, conceptual and methodological contributions to Occupational Therapy, childhood sociology, Afroperspectiveness and Popular Health Education. A participatory research will be carried out with children linked to protection and care projects developed in a vulnerable territory in a municipality in the interior of the state of São Paulo.
