ANALYSIS OF THE INFLUENCE OF SOCIODEMOGRAPHIC VARIABLES ON FIGURAL CREATIVITY TEST

Abstract

In the 21st century, creativity has been emphasized as an essential characteristic. Despite this appreciation, there is currently no approved test for assessing this construct in adolescents and adults in Brazil. Due to this gap, the current study aims to investigate the psychometric properties of the adapted version of an instrument previously published, but originally designed to measure children's figural creativity (Children's Figural Creativity Test). The study will examine how sociodemographic variables, such as gender and education level, influence the results of the instrument. A sample of about 300 participants from the research group's database, whose tests have already been applied in previous studies, will be used. An analysis of the data will be carried out by the professor responsible for the project. The first step will be to estimate the descriptive statistics of each measure and its factors. For the purpose of verifying whether there are significant differences among these subgroups, an analysis of variance will be performed.
