Abstract

This project proposes the dissemination of activities, research and events carried out within the scope of the Thematic Project The Scientific Journalism scholarship in question was granted to this Thematic Project at the time of its approval by FAPESP. Considering that adolescence is marked by physical and brain changes that impact behavior and cognition and are not always understood by young people themselves, as well as by their parents, teachers and health professionals, a dissemination process is necessary. of the research carried out in this study group, which contribute to this debate. In addition, throughout this journalistic project, the website "Adole-sendo" will also be strengthened, already created by this group of researchers. Among the main topics to be addressed will be the results of the development of graphic representations (comics) about typical adolescent behaviors, as well as studies on the relationship between pubertal development and the consequences that biopsychosocial factors can have for the modulation of the ability of these adolescents in self-regulating their own behavior, which impacts both their physical and mental health at this age and in adulthood.
