Abstract

This project continues the research conducted at the post-doctoral level at the University of São Paulo, which investigates the theoretical foundations of a Phenomenology of Difference based on the work of Maurice Merleau-Ponty. During the BEPE, we will aim to deepen the dimension of the relation with otherness, arising from this differential logic that gradually is consolidated in our studies, and that serves as a phenomenalizing agency to all meaning. We will relocate and describe the concrete relations with the other at their pre-individual levels, facing the difficult problem of individuation from a phenomenological standpoint. The research brings us into dialogue with one of the greatest exponents of phenomenology in the 21st century, besides being a noted expert on Merleau-Ponty's work, Renaud Barbaras, whose supervision will certainly be of great value. Thus, the BEPE will deepen and provide one more element to support this proclaimed phenomenology based on the concept of difference, that we investigate throughout the Post-Doctorate. (AU)
