The objective of this study will be to evaluate human teeth, the temperature generated and the time used for the removal of fiberglass posts with the use of guides, in front of different cutters. The dentin volumetric change and possible deviations will also be analyzed by means of computed tomography, pre and post-wear of the posts. The study will be carried out by 2 operators with different clinical experiences: an operator who specialized in Endodontics and a graduate student in Dentistry. Human teeth will be filled and cemented with intraarticular fiberglass posts, n. 1 (Angelus, Londrina, Brazil). The samples will be divided into 3 groups, according to the pin wear devices: milling cutter 1.3 (Radiodontica, Chapecó, Brazil); 1.0 cutter (Radiodontica, Chapecó, Brazil), and ultrasonic insert with E9 spherical diamond tip (Helse, São Paulo, Brazil). The teeth will be fixed on pre-planned and customized acrylic tables for each dental element in the study. Endodontic guides will be suspended above the tables to guide the access and wear of fiberglass posts in different materials. The results will be statistically evaluated with an alpha of 5%, depending on normality and homoscedasticity, if they are positive, parametric tests will be applied, otherwise, non-parametric tests.
