The post-doctoral scholar is expected to investigate the nonlinear optical properties andultrafast carrier dynamics in semiconductor quantum dots films deposited on top of 2D materials, including graphene monolayer and MoS2. In this proposal the main focus will be toinvestigate the influence of the 2D monolayers in the charge dynamics. We expect to enhancecharge transport from/to quantum dots by having the 2D structures operating mainly as holetransport layer. (AU)
