In this study plan, we'll describe: a) our research problem and the thesis hypothesis; b) our main objective and the specific objectives for the exchange program; c) our planned methodology and results analysis within the exchange program; d) the justification of the chosen institution and supervisor. Our research project consists in a panoramic study of what we'll consider here as creative strategies in Collective Free Improvisation. Our hypothesis is that creative strategies are emergent elements shared between improvisers in performances and are cognitive processes that help them to solve problems of coordination (change and maintenance of the sound environment) and the creation of consistency. The problem to be investigated is how groups, as they begin a trajectory of CFI practices, create diverse creative strategies for solving the consolidation problems emerging in practice. We'll use two different but complementary methods: an ethnography and empirical experiments. As aforementioned, we'll also discuss the importance of the exchange program with the indicated supervisor, Dr. Clément Canonne, and the institution, IRCAM, in the STMS-lab. (AU)
