Abstract

The researches of power electronics can guarantee reliability and efficiency in the operation of renewable energy sources that have intermittent behavior. In this context, with the presence of alternative sources, the energy storage devices are applied to compensate energy transients and also supply power in black-out situations. In this way, this project proposes the development of a new three-port dc-dc converter which will be connected to a dc microgrid for the energy management of alternative energy sources and supplying or absorbing power from the storage devices, SoC equalization and optimization proposal. Thus, the new dc-dc converter topology will be studied considering the state space modeling, efficiency analysis, computer simulations via software and experimental tests in opened and closed loops. Afterwards, the limits of stability of both will be performed by using the Lyapunov indirect method. Finally, it will be accomplished the energy management with simulation of the algorithm SoC-sharing method, which uses the sigmoid function for battery equalization. (AU)
