Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the relationships between family of incarcerated women as from online and offline interactions. The research focuses on the affections shared "between walls", which link incarcerated women in the Santa Luzia Women's Penitentiary, of Alagoas and their families. The analytical focus is circumscribed to the relationships among people that weave networks of organization, solidarity, and struggles for rights at the intersection between family relationships and the relationships woven through prison. This perspective of analysis focused to the Santa Luzia women's prison is guided by contemporary studies on gender, prisons and affectivities. The main objective of the research is to analyze how the solidarity networks, the exchange of information and objects, as well as the affective webs that connect trajectories of incarceration and disincarceration among women prisoners and their family members. The research will be carried out through ethnographic work; written and audio records; semi-structured interviews, collective and individual, and the monitoring of whatsapp groups of family members of prisoners and women inmates of the prison system.
