This project refers to the research internship abroad, related to the doctoral work that investigates the Araraquara Railroad (EFA), located in the northwest of the State of São Paulo. The objective of the thesis is to comparatively investigate three EFA railway complexes - Araraquara, Bueno de Andrada and Catanduva - in order to achieve historical, aesthetic specificities, structural relationships with the local urban dynamics and details of the intervention projects that enabled the railway stations of these three sets with new functions. The objective of the internship abroad is to deepen the bibliographical research, exploring other collections, sources and fieldwork, from technical visits that allow a comparative analysis of some Italian examples with the EFA.
