Quantum systems can exhibit non-classical behavior in different ways; two of the strongest and most well-known and studied are Bell non-locality and Kochen-Specker contextuality, both related to supra-classical correlations between measurement results performed on the system. Behind these phenomena there are, as expected, intrinsically quantum concepts, such as entanglement and measurement incompatibility. Resources such as these are, in general, necessary, but not always sufficient for the generation of non-classical correlations, and, due to the recent prominence that such correlations have gained as resources in the quantum theory of information, it is of fundamental and practical importance to investigate which ones are the hypotheses under the which non-locality and/or contextuality can be obtained in quantum systems. This project has as its central objective the investigation of such hypotheses, specifically related to the following two lines of research: (I) understanding the relationships between entanglement and non-locality in different scenarios; and (II) understanding the relationships between non-locality and contextuality in different scenarios.
