Abstract

Deleuze argues that Leibniz is the first philosopher of the event since the stoics, inserting Leibniz in a philosophic tradition that opposes the one he is usually associated with: that of Aristotle and Decartes. Such interpretation can be read in light of the deleuzian project of a philosophy of difference, through which the bottomless dethrones the foundation, and sufficient reason leads to unreason.(AU)
