What is art capable of, this tool that can connect life processes to the matter of the movement? What is the artist capable of, whose body becomes another at each step they create? What is in the contradictory space between what represents the norm and what actively means different ontological perspectives? From such questions, this project seeks to investigate if and how art is capable of producing agency for and with trans and transvestite people, in addition to understanding how intersectional cutouts of individuative experiences interfere and relate with their creations. This hypothesis of agency comes from the assumption that not only in moments of grief are trans people capable of affecting: the act of artistic creation is a potent mobilizer of resistance, of regurgitation of the norm, of confrontation of violence. Given the exploratory character of this proposal, in depth interviews will be carried out based on a pre-structured directory. Such technique allows the prioritization of the interviewee's speech as an enunciation localized from life's narratives. Lastly, the data analisis added to bibliographical revision will allow the deduction of categories for analisis as well as testing our hypothesis, contributing to the academic discussion of this theme.
