The Car Wash Operation is considered the biggest initiative conducted to fight corruption in Brazil due to its significant results and impacts on multiple Brazilian democracy fields. The investigation of the corruption and money laundering scheme mainly in the state company Petrobras involving public and private agents and political parties was, and still is, the focus of many studies and news reports. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to collect data related to the Car Wash Operation aiming at facilitating the work of researchers who seek to deepen the studies on the aspects and effects of such an action. In order to do so, the academic and journalistic published material about the Operation will be gathered in a bibliographical review. Also, periodical reports summarizing the study are to be provided. Thus, this research intends to contribute to the Car Wash Operation's understanding and outcome throughout its historical course, as well as to assist researches concerning themes such as the fight against corruption, the Integrity System, political trust, Brazilian democracy quality, and alike.
