This project aims to verify the effect of the addition of dicalcium phosphate dihydrate (DCPD) particles on the fracture toughness (KIc) of experimental composites. Composites will be formulated containing equimolar concentrations of BisGMA and TEGDMA and 40% by volume of particles in different proportions between barium glasses (reinforcement) and DCPD. Bars with central notch will be made and stored in water for 24 h and fractured under flexion (single-edge notched beam method). Fulfilled the requirements of normality and homoscedasticity, the data will be analyzed by two-way analysis of variance and Tukey's test (alpha: 5%). (AU)
