This Research Project aims to provide an overview of the role of faith-based organizations in the governance of the Venezuelan migrants in Brazil, with a focus on the case of Venezuelans interned by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons) in the region of São Carlos and Araraquara. The research will be of a qualitative nature. Through interviews with the various agents involved in the interiorization process - leaders and members of the church, Venezuelan migrants and experts working in the management of the Venezuelan flow, the research seeks to elucidate the motivations of various subjects involved in the interiorization policy, as well as the role of non-Catholic religious organizations in the incorporation of migrants in medium and small cities in the interior of the country.(AU)
