Abstract

This project addresses localization of light in optical lattices, in presence of "diagonal disorder", that is when the transition energy of each emitter presents a random character. Such a situation can be encountered, for example, when a speckle field on an optical lattice induces a random Stark energy shift on each atom. Inspired from the original Anderson model, this study aims to shed new light on the quest for localization of light in the disordered systems. (AU)
