As the increasing population grows bigger, the center of the cities expand themselves and the green parts become spread over small areas in the so-called Urban Green Spaces. Close to schools, such areas can provide effective Environmental Education in a non-formal way, enabling the awareness process at various levels. This project has the general objective of collectively build a Didactic Guide on two Urban Green Spaces located nearby two local schools in Ilha Solteira, São Paulo. There will be some surveying work on the species of the fauna and flora in each Urban Green Space which will be aided by expert guides and teachers for the identification, as well as photographic records (which will compose the Didactic Guide). In addition to that, four meetings will be held via Google Meet with the Environmental Education teachers, days and times to be settled for the collective construction of the Didactic Guide, concerning these matters: presentation and explanation, elaboration of the sequence for the Didactic Guide, thinking about the material and presenting the Didactic Guide proposal. These meetings will be analyzed using Discourse Analysis. By the end of all, we intend to collaborate with elementary school teachers on the process and practice of EE with teaching material about the locations, which may later be used in other means of distribution, as well as contributing to data collection on the fauna and flora of the region and programs of the town.
