The use of membranes that assist in the guided bone regeneration process (GBR) is one of the purposes of studies of compatible biomaterials that assist in the bone repair process. The objective of this study is to evaluate and compare, through microscopic, histomorphometric, immunohistochemical, and inflammatory profile, guided bone regeneration using collagen membranes of different origins in created defects created in rat calvaria. 96 Albinus Wistar rats will be used, divided into 4 groups, 6 animals for each group: a control group with clot only; a group that receives the fish collagen membrane associated with hydroxyapatite (CHP, JHS, Minas Gerais); bovine collagen membrane group associated with hydroxyapatite (Col.Hap-91®, JHS, Minas Gerais); and porcine collagen membrane group (Bio-Gide®, Geistlich). Each group will consist of four subgroups, according to the euthanasia times: 7, 15, 30, and 60 days. After euthanasia, according to the parts processed and the laboratory procedures performed. For evaluation of the collected data, they will be submitted as histomorphometric, immunohistochemistry and inflammatory analyzes. The results found will be submited to homoscedasticity tests to verify the better statistical tests to be used. For comparisons between groups, the One-way ANOVA tests with Tukey's post-test will be used, if the main parametric data; and Kruskal-Wallis with Dunn's post-test, if the main non-parametric data. The level of significance established will be 5%.
