Salmonella Enteritidis (SE), Salmonella Typhimurium (ST) and SalmonellaHeidelberg (SH) are among the most prevalent paratypical serovars found inbirds and humans. In this study, the evaluation of intestinal colonization and thesystemic infection by means of bacterial count in cecal content and liver in 3lineage types of commercial birds inoculated with SE, ST and SH and previouslyinoculated with mutant strains of SE, ST and SH containing deletions in the ttrA andpduA.
