Abstract

Helicobacter pylori is normal flora the gastric epithelium and can promote the development of gastric isorders, such as peptic ulcers, acute and chronic gastritis, mucosal lymphoid tissue (MALT), and gastric adenocarcinomas. Is classified as the most prevalent chronic bacterial infections in humans and new therapies are sough to eradicate this bacterium because the treatment available aren't still efficient due to factors such as antibiotic resistance, prolonged duration of therapy and side effects presented by the antibiotics used. The growing bacterial resistance aroused interest in the search for alternative active compounds in the treatment of infections. Among them, metal complexes have been studied together with several places that enhance their biological properties with the release of ions. The antimicrobial activity of metal ions is known as unions due to its role as a ligand in coordination compounds and its performance in biological systems, presenting antifungal, antitumoral and antimicrobial activity. This study will be developed determining the silver coordination compounds of anti- H. pylori with a focus on biofilm, which is considered one of the main virulence factors of these microorganisms. Additionally, the toxic potential will be evaluated in an alternative in vivo model (Galleria mellonella) , of the most active Ag (I) coordination complex.
