The study aims to evaluate the computerized electrocardiography of dogs anesthetized with sevofluorane associated with lidocaine continuous rate infusion. Will be used 20 dogs (male or female), 1 to 5 years old, weigh between 4 at 20 kg, not castrated. The animals will be distributed in two experimental groups, control group (CG) and lidocaine group (GL). Animals will be induced to anestesia through the use of a face mask with sevofluorane, intubated, connected to the anesthetic circuit and kept anesthetized with sevofluorane. The measurement of variables for the baseline, will be performed 15 minutes after intubation and before the infusion of lidocaine (GL) or saline solution (GC). Then, for the GL will be administered intravenous lidocaine bolus (2mg / kg), followed by the start continuous infusion (100 µg / kg / minute). For the CG, the same methodology will be employed, replacing lidocaine with 0.9% NaCl saline solution, in identical volumes, rates and routes. Observations of the variables of interest will begin before administration of lidocaine or NaCl 0.9% (MB), and 20, 40, 60 and 80 minutes after the beginning of continuous infusion (M20, M40, M60 and M80, respectively). Will bevariables were studied: heart rate (HR), arterial pressures systolic, mean and diastolic (SBP, MBP and DBP) and electrocardiographic evaluation of the rhythm cardiac and electrical conduction. The electrocardiographic measurements will be: P-wave, P-R interval, Q-R-S extension, R-wave and Q-T interval. For statistical analysis, tests for Shapiro-Wilk normality, and for the variables that show normal distribution, analysis of variance and test will be performed Tukey's for comparison of means. As for the variables that do not pass the normality test, the Kruskal Wallis test followed by the test Dunn to compare the moments in each group.
