Abstract

The maize is one of the agricultural crops of relevance in the world scenario, as it covers the animal and vegetable nutrition and bioenergy sectors. However, when one compares the maximum productivity obtained with the national reality, one notices that it is a culture that needs technological advances that promote low environmental impact and profitability in small areas, especially in the family farming sector. As a result, the number of studies on intercropping systems is growing, of which the succession of maize cultivation system refers to mushroom production. This study aims to understand how this system can increase corn productivity by improving soil fertility and what microbiological interactions can occur with the plant in this production model. The mushroom that will be used in field cultivation is A. subrufescens, characteristic for being a mushroom of Brazilian origin, which facilitates the conduction of this type of production. The experiment will take place in duplicate (first season maize and second season maize), in a continuous cultivation system (mushroom followed by maize). The experiments consisted of a double factorial 2×4: being - Gypsum (presence and absence) X Fertility management (control, spent mushroom substrate, spent mushroom substrate + sowing fertilization, spent mushroom substrate+ sowing fertilization + topdressing fertilization). The chemical characteristics of the soil and the productive aspects of corn during cultivation will be evaluated, as well as microbiological evaluations of the soil (rhizoplane and rhizosphere) and endophytic microorganisms promoted by the soil microbiota. All results will be submitted to analysis of variance and the means obtained will be compared by the Tukey test at 5% probability. (AU)
