Ornamental plants have a high added value, with high consumer demand for the quality of the final product. The use of soil conditioners promotes improvements in the absorption of nutrients and in the availability of water for plants. Faced with this, the present work will be intended evaluate the effect of two soil conditioners (hydrogel and coconut fiber) and irrigation with salt water in the productive, water and physiological aspects of sunflower plants. For this, 2 simultaneous experiments will be carried out, the first consisting of 4 doses of hydrogel (0; 0.5; 1.0 and 1.5 g kg-1) and the second in 4 doses of coconut fiber (0; 15.0; 20.0 and 25.0 g kg-1), in which all use 4 levels of water electrical conductivity (0.5 - control; 2.0; 3.5 and 5.0 dS m-1). Production variables, water relations and economic variability will be evaluated.
