The research aim to analyze a continuing training program designed for teachers of specialized educational services using teaching and an assessment of basic orientation and mobility techniques in school environments. The research will consist of three studies: study 1 - validation of assessment protocols; study 2 - theoretical training of specialized educational services teachers and study 3 - practical training of specialized educational services teachers. Different procedures and instruments for data collection will be used for this research, such as questionnaire, filming, audio recordings and intervention. Participants will be orientation and mobility professionals,blind students enrolled in regular education, from the 6th grade, and teachers of specialized educational services who serve blind students who are enrolled in elementary school (grades 5 to 9) and/or high school. Data collection from study 1 will take in four stages: 1) protocol analysis by experts in the field; 2) reformulation of the protocols and elaboration of the second version; 3) protocol testing with blind students; and 4) filming analysis and protocol reformulation. Study 2 will have steps: 1) characterization of participants; 2) theoretical training of teachers of specialized educational services and study 3 will count on the intervention of the researcher with the teacher of specialized educational services. For data analysis different procedures will be used, such as the results obtained by the pre- and post-test self-assessment questionnaires and the sum of the teacher's absolute frequency when teaching the blind student in school environments. At the end of this research, it is expected to contribute, theoretically and practically, so that teachers of specialized services teachers can implement the teaching and evaluation of the orienttion e mobility techniques in school environments.
