Abstract

This research aims to investigate and reflect how blackness is experienced by black families in the current context, seeking to understand the views that black parents have regarding blackness and how this is experienced and conveyed in the bond between parents and children. Although racial discussions are currently in vogue, there is a lack of works related to the subjective constitution of the black subject, to the bonding of these families and the contents of being black transmitted between generations, therefore, This research aims to contribute to the current discussions about the black subject in contemporary Brazil. To conduct this research, the semi-directed interview will be used as a data collection instrument. Six black couples will be interviewed, who have children and willing to participate voluntarily research, which should be parents of children/young people. The data will be analyzed through the dialogue between the material collected and the scientific material raised. That way, it's planned to outline a reflection among the collected data, psychoanalytic studies related to the contents addressed and the historical questions about black people in Brazil. This research is expected to help future studies on the blackness experienced in family ties, as also, the transmission of contents referring to being black within these ties. (AU)
