Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is considered a neurodevelopmental disorder whose clinical diagnosis is exclusively behavioral. For the pathology to be confirmed, the subject must exhibit excessive behaviors of inattention, hyperactivity and impulsivity, in more than one environment and for a period longer than six months. The lineage of spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR) has been shown to be the most appropriate animal model to study ADHD, as it mimics the fundamental characteristics of pathology, is aligned with the theoretical construction of the disease and from its studies it is possible to make predictions about neurobiological aspects of ADHD. One of the main characteristics of both people with ADHD and SHR rats is the sensitivity to delay in the presentation of reinforcement in the formation of conditioned reinforces, such sensitivity is usually higher in this lineage of rats. This research aims to analyze this variable and see its effects on responding.
