Abstract

In this project, a system of X-ray fluorescence will be developed, with the objective of quantifying the concentration of chemical elements of interest (iron and zinc) in rat brains (controls and with induced epilepsy). The X-ray production, fluorescence, and detection with a spectrometric detector will be studied.
