Technologies 4.0 are increasingly merged with animal and plant production, giving rise to the concept of agriculture and zootechnics 4.0. Using these technologies, it is possible to apply wireless sensor networks (RSSF) to monitor environmental variables of selected locations, and thus transmit the data captured by the Internet of Things (IoT). Due to the great influence of the thermal environment on animal production, monitoring these variables in order to determine the thermal comfort levels increases herd production. Similarly, by applying the RSSF in greenhouses it is possible to optimize the crop that is dependent on the internal climate. The focus of the project is the development of an ultra-low power RSSF with the ability to capture data from environmental variables and thus calculate thermal comfort indices. The tests will be performed on a small scale and distorted models already existing at the Faculty of Science and Engineering of the State University of São Paulo "Júlio de Mesquita Filho", Tupã Campus. The models will have three different types of roofing materials, so hoping to get comparisons between them.
