Tumor cells have characteristics of exaggerated proliferation, angiogenesis, growth, invasion and metastasis, and even resistance to death. Like many other diseases, cancer involves genetic and environmental risk factors. Unhealthy diet, low level of physical activity, alcohol consumption, exposure to radiation and smoking are among the main factors causing the disease related to the environment. Based on the protective role of exercise many works have emerged in an attempt to explain key mechanisms of interaction with the tumor. In some types of cancer it has been hypothesized that PPAR³ has anti-tumorigenic functions, including breast cancer. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of moderate physical exercise on the subpopulation of PPAR³ deletion-associated macrophages associated with triple-negative breast tumor induced in mice. For this female mice with deletion of PPAR³ in myeloid cells will be induced to breast cancer and subjected to a moderate training protocol (60% of maximum speed) for 4 weeks. The subpopulations of macrophages infiltrated in the tumor between the sedentary and exercised groups and the gene and protein expression in the tumor of factors related to tumor metabolism, cell cycle, apoptosis and inflammation will be evaluated.
