The scientific production about climate change of the planet we live on is increasingly intense. There are forecasts that in 20 years the globe could be about two degrees warmer. According to the researchers of the subject, the extrapolation of this situation can cause chaos in the world as we know today. More recurrent climate phenomena, melting ice caps, rising sea levels can cause the loss of the vast array of existing biodiversity and damage the entire natural chain on which the terrestrial ecosystem is based on. Scientists have realized in recent years, however, that to bring about effective change it is not enough to present the data, but there is also a communication strategy necessary for this process. This journalistic research proposal aims to produce journalistic material in order to communicate the science that involves the transformations of agriculture in a world where global warming is a reality. From the material produced by the Center for Genomic Research on Climate Change (GCCRC), it will be possible to construct guidelines, reports, news and other informative contents in the search for the dissemination of the center's work aiming at stimulating a critical sense regarding the transformations by which human life can pass in the future. The aim is to reduce the distance between scientists and the general public. (AU)
