Abstract

This research project has the goal to understand the spirits traffic's through materialities used by different religious act in the spirit world in Maputo (Mozambique South) as part of my Ph.D. project that is associated to the São Paulo State Research Foundation (FAPESP). I intend to analyze how the "traditional" spirits traffic by religious agents (like pastors from Universal Church Kingdom of God and Zione prophets) and traditional doctors, through different materialities and to understand how these agents using certain materialities to combat these spirits. So, I intend to analyze the field's information’s during my studies at University Utrecht when I will join to the research project "Religious Matters in an Entangled World" under Professor Birgit Meyer supervisor. This Project will helps me with a theorical frame to understand my research object and will give me an important relationship with researchers and research institutions. (AU)
