In October 2012, the Senate sanctioned Law No. 18,987, which regulated and decriminalized the voluntary interruption of the situation in some cases, thus becoming, along with Cuba, Puerto Rico, Guyana, Mexico City and Colombia, a law that extends the sexual and reproductive rights of women, with the objective of eradicating the practice of unsafe abortion. The issue of abortion is an important component for the analysis of the right to sexual and reproductive health, since it is one of the factors that makes sexuality more difficult, such as the (non) reproduction and free disposition and control of women's bodies. All questions about the relationships between individuals and public, private and private services, perpetuation and manifestation in health institutions through contact between health professionals and women users of services. The project as it has an end, from the exercise of following the professionals to the service to the women who wish to realize the legal right, like to make a review of the literature on the sexual and reproductive relations, gender, race, sexuality and family of the interdisciplinary group is responsible for the care of the woman. Intending to do an ethnography at the Pereira Rossell Hospital in Montevideo, in relation to the nursing team, more specifically the interdisciplinary care team, which is the mandatory phase to obtain the abortive product at the end of the process.
