Abstract In this project, we propose to continue investigating the utilization of lattices in Cryptography, in particular characterizing lattice properties that are desirable for building efficient and secure lattice-based cryptoschemes. The efforts that will follow aim to continue the work that has been done so far on the scientific initiation project, also named Characterizing Lattices for Cryptography, supported by São Paulo Research Foundation -FAPESP - under the grant number 18/08130-4, developed by the grantee Tomás S. R. Silva and the principal investigator Professor Ricardo Dahab from May of 2018 to April of 2019.As a result, this research project must define necessary conditions that a lattice should obey for its use to be considered proper for building cryptoschemes. Especially, we are interested in defining conditions for the dimension and the density of a lattice. (AU) | |
