Rhizodeposition of nitrogen and carbon can increase the proportion of N and C in the soil and influence enzymatic activity, organic matter decomposition and, consequently, the availability of nutrients. The objective of this work will be evaluated (1) rhizodeposition of C and N of the cherry tomato and jack bean in monoculture and intercropping using the13C -15N double labelling method; (2) the activity and Spatio-temporal distribution of enzymes of the species in monoculture and intercropping. The experimental design will be a randomized block with five replicates, four treatments and two additional treatments: single jack bean (labelling 13C-15N) and single tomato (labelling 13C-15N), jack bean (labelling 13C-15N) and cherry tomato in intercropping and jack bean and cherry tomato (labelling 13C-15N) in intercropping. The additional treatments will be the cherry tomato and the jack bean growing in the same conditions without labelling with aiming to obtain its abundance of 15N and 13C. The experiment will be conducted in a rhizotron and growth chamber. We will be evaluated: abundance 13C and 15N, rhizodeposition, microbial biomass, N and C transfer between species and direct soil zymography.
