This project intends to research a network of Americanist intellectuals with branches between Brazil, Argentina and Chile, who worked on the organization of history congresses, publication of books, foundation of research institutes and university chairs between the years of 1922 and 1940 .The focus is on relations and exchanges among intellectuals on a transnational scale in order to perceive the mediations and practices between them and other sectors of society. For this, the main documents chosen were correspondence, minutes of congresses, publications in magazines and the history books organized by the network. These documents will be analyzed in the light of intellectual history, renewed by discussions of new political history and cultural history. (AU)
