Abstract

In the present project, numerical simulations of lattice quantum chromodynamics are proposed, with emphasis on the case of the theory in extreme conditions of temperature, in which the transtion to the so-called quark-gluon plasma is observed. In particular, we will investigate the critical behavior of the propagators of the theory in the neighborhood of the phase transition. The proposed study inserts itself naturally in the thematic project proc. # 2017/05685-2 (coordinated by Prof. Jun Takahashi of IFGW-Unicamp), in that one intends to obtain observable quantities for the characterization of the QGP produced in heavy-ion collisions, as carried out at the LHC.
