This research proposal aims to transform science communication into journalistic materials in order to disseminate the research and activities currently developedby the Center for Research in Cultural and Social History at University of Campinas (CECULT/UNICAMP). In addition to communicate a diverse range of scientific activities carried out by the CECULT, this work will promote published books and collections, such as the works that compose the collections "Várias Histórias" and "Históri@ Ilustrada", both published in partnership with the UNICAMP Publishing House. This work will also communicate digital exhibitions and events with national and international coverage organized by the CECULT. Thus, this project intends to contribute to the broadening the research debate in Social History, aiming the increase of visibility of numerous activities organized and implemented by the Center. As a result, science communication materials will be prepared and published in alternative media such as Ciência e Cultura journal (Brazilian Society for the Progress of Science,SBPC), ComCiência journal (Jornal da Unicamp, JU), and social media's profiles, ultimately strengthening the interaction with other media vehicles by publishing press releases on the activities of the Center. For this, the present proposal is based on a solid theoretical framework of Science communication that composes the set of disciplines of the Specialization in Scientific Journalism of the Laboratory of Advanced Studies in Journalism (Labjor), accomplished by the candidate in 2018. It is also important to highlight that the candidate holds a degree in History, with extensive experience as journalist and editor for science publications and audiovisual production for Human Sciences.
